Divisions


  • Beginner: Pre-K (must be 5 years old as of August 1st) -  Kindergarten
  • Rookie: 1st Grade - 2nd Grade
  • Junior: 3rd Grade - 4th Grade
  • Senior: 5th Grade - 6th Grade Register through Red Zone Academy League or YSF

Practices/Games

  • Games played Monday evenings, September 13 - October 18. Rain makeup week will be following Monday. 

    • Practices start week of August 23rd and are determined by your coaches.
    • Coaches meeting: Monday, August 16th at 5:30 PM at the Solon Community Center

  • NO GAMES ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 DUE TO HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY MEET.

Fees


Beginners, Rookies, and Juniors:
  • Residents within Solon City Limits: $43
  • Residents outside Solon City Limits: $48
  • Late Fee: $15

Senior

 
  • $89 by July 15th
  • $99 after July 15th
  • Register at the Redzone Youth Football League website.
  •  *Note: There is hardship scholarship funding available (provided by generous donations from local businesses) for those that can’t afford all or part of the fee. If there is a need, contact the recreation office at 319-624-2944.

Location


  • Pre-K  - 4th grade: Youth football field at Solon Rec and Nature Area-SRNA (Northeast corner of park along Racine Avenue)
  • 5th grade - 6th grade: Either Youth Football Field or Napoleon Park in Iowa City
